Basic math—dividing numbers, measuring area or reading a graph—is critical to finishing school and earning a middle-class living, but only 25% Hispanic eighth graders in Texas are proficient in math. We know that all Fort Worth students can achieve at high levels if there are great teachers in every classroom.
